"Beautiful views - easy walk/hike on the loop. Brought our stroller and it wasn’t the best idea - would recommend baby carrier since some spots are a little extra rocky. Saw plenty of school age kids too, so it’s definitely an accessible area if you do the loop instead of climb."
"If you’re in the mood for a walk/hike then this is a great one! We combined it with the Courthouse Butte Trail for a total of 3.7 miles. The beginning is a nicely groomed pathway that graduates to a bit more rocky terrain the further in you go. It’s a loop that goes around all of the perimeter of Bell rock and courthouse. It took us about two hours but I stopped and took a lot of pictures! Get there before sunrise if you wanna get a parking place and be prepared to present a red rock pass as well. There’s a kiosk you can purchase at if needed. They also take the America the beautiful pass but there wasn’t a Ranger or attendant there when we went."
"We went in during winter time. It has rained a bit the night before, it was cold at midday but not so cold to put on layers. The trails were refreshingly moist with nice little puddles and washes that line the trail. The trail we took went around the bell rock, with super mild elevation gain for a leisurely one-hour hike. This isn’t a national park - tho the trails are clearly marked, it’s kinda free for all in where you could go - but stay on the trails, lest you kill off the delicate flora and formations. If you dare climbing a few slick rocks, you can go up the butte almost all the way up - this part isn’t super kid friendly nor well marked - felt a bit risky. I saw some people on bicycles and e-bikes. If I had know I’d have given it a try. Nice place for a good ride on a mild trail. Protip : parking is tight. Recommend parking at another nearby trail head and just walk up."
